Hiscilla in Greek Mythology
Hiscilla was a princess of Phthia in Greek mythology, most commonly named as one of the four children of Myrmidon, son of Zeus, and Pisidice, daughhter of Aeolus. Hiscilla was thus sister to Actor, Antiphus and Eupolemia.
Hiscilla would marry Triopas, who was commonly said to be a son of Helios, and by him, Hiscilla would become mother to three children; a daughter, Iphimedia, a lover of Poseidon, Phorbas, a hero of Rhodes, and Erysichthon.
Both Hiscilla’s husband, Triopas, and son, Erysichthon, were both said to have angered the goddess Demeter.
